2022 OSR Student Research Fellowships

Thank you for your interest in the Summer 2022 OSR Student Research Fellowships Program.

OSR Student Research Fellowships are open to students in all disciplines and are undocufriendly. Students must qualify for need-based financial aid.

Summer 2022 Fellows will receive a $3,500 stipend to support their professional development and training via a hands-on research experience mentored by a Cal Poly faculty member. 

Applications are due F 5/6/22 (extended) at 11:59pm CA time. 

As part of your application, you will need to provide a 
  1. Resume or CV
  2. A one-page research project proposal (directions)
  3. A one-half page motivation statement (directions)
  4. A letter or email of commitment from a Cal Poly faculty member to serve as your faculty mentor (may also be submitted separately to studentresearch@calpoly.edu)
  5. Evidence of qualification for need-based financial aid

3. Please upload evidence that you qualify for need-based financial aid (e.g., a student aid report). This can be for 2021-22 or 2022-23.
