This page explains the review and comment process and collects information on the submitter.
This form is provided as a comment opportunity regarding the proposed title 5 Associate Degree (§55060-§55063) changes. The proposed amendments clarify existing language in Article 6 regarding the creation of associate degrees, general education standards, and student requirements for completing and being awarded associate degrees. In addition, the amendments will align Article 6 with the goals of the Vision for Success, Equitable Placement and Completion (AB 705), innovation in curriculum development, and the strategic framework for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the system.

To assist in your review and comments there are three documents for your review listed below.  Click on the document to download in its entirety.

  3. Proposed Associate Degree Changes Final Version w/o Markup Document
In the online form each proposed section in the final version w/o the markup is displayed on individual pages after the contact information page.  Review the proposed section and afterwards indicate if you have any questions or concerns about the section as written.  Check Yes, if you do or No, if you do not.  If you check Yes, you will be given an opportunity to indicate what your concern or question is.  If you check No, you will move to the next page and section for your review.
