Join Together Northern Nevada (JTNN) is conducting a comprehensive assessment in Washoe County designed to identify needs related to substance abuse prevention in the community. This survey is part of that assessment. Results from this survey will be included in the development of a Comprehensive Community Prevention Plan, designed to identify substance abuse prevention priorities for Washoe County.
This survey is confidential and anonymous. The information provided will not be shared or traceable to any one individual. If you choose to provide your email address (to be added to the gift card drawing, our mailing list, or to give permission for your child to participate in an interview or survey), your email is not traceable to your survey responses. All information provided by those who take this survey will be analyzed in aggregate (as an entire group). Reporting will only include analysis of all data.
This survey includes questions about the following topics:
- protective and risk factors
- substance use and acceptability of use
- perceptions of substance use
- parental attitudes and control (if applicable)
- social media and safety
- demographics
