ARCHS Summer Youth Development Programs Proposal

Description

ARCHS is seeking funding proposals from organizations to deliver summer youth programs/camps for school-age youth between the ages of 5-16 years old. Proposals selected for funding will be expected to deliver services in the summer of 2026 (operating between the timeframe of May 1, 2026 – July 30, 2026.)

ARCHS' Out-of-School Time programs provide safe environments at no cost to families, which allow time for parents to work or partake in education and/or training activities. Programs generally provide structured learning environments and provide activities for youth to engage in centered around:
  • Mental Health
  • Education (Health, Literacy, Career, STEM, etc.)
  • Creative Arts/Expression
  • Social Emotional Skill Building
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Physical Health and Wellness
Funding amounts will vary; however, awards have historically ranged between $15,000 and $75,000.

Before submitting your proposal, please note the following criteria:
  • ARCHS’ funding is intended to serve students in under-resourced families; therefore, all students enrolled must meet TANF eligibility requirements and be able to provide proof they meet the requirements.
  • Students that are supported by ARCHS funds must receive services at no cost (for ARCHS’ funded programs).
  • Programs will be required to serve a minimum of 20 students for full or half-day programs (minimum of 4 hours) to be eligible for funding.
  • Programs must be licensed or obtain license exemption status for the summer, prior to the start of the program.
Proposals for summer youth camps/programs are due by 5pm Friday, March 13th.
