Innovation for Resilience in Bangladesh Ecosystem Mapping

Introduction & Consent

Accelerating Innovation for Resilience (AI4Resilience) is being deployed in Bangladesh to strengthen the ecosystem for innovation for humanitarian response and long-term community resilience in Bangladesh.

The program is taking an ecosystem-level approach to work with and support institutions (such as innovation hubs, incubators and accelerators, NGOs, venture funds, diaspora networks, the Government of Bangladesh, etc.) with demonstrated capabilities and incentives to better support individual innovators/entrepreneurs—to catalyze stronger supply of innovations in a way that meets community needs/demands for improved recovery and resilience.

In the following questions we will be exploring the connections and resources you have access to as an actor in the innovation, humanitarian response, resilience, or related ecosystems.

Your answers will help us design a program that better supports actors like you.

In this survey, we will ask you to answer questions on behalf of your institution. Your name and demographic data will be anonymized in accordance with the Bangladesh Laws of confidentiality. Specifics on the law can be found on the next page.

For those applying to the AI4Resilience Challenge, note that there will be some overlap between the questions asked in the application form and the survey here. While we will verify that you or someone from your institution completed this survey as part of assessing eligibility for the Challenge, your specific responses to questions in this survey will not be used in this way. For eligibility and judging purposes, any responses you give in the application form will take precedence.

The survey will take approximately 20-35 minutes.
