Event Policy and Strategy Consultation 2022

One of the strategic objectives in the Council Plan 2021-2025 is to ‘strengthen community connections through local events, festivals and the arts’.

We are creating the Hume Events Strategy, Event Policy and Sponsorship Policy. These documents help Council plan their event program so that it meets the needs of our community. They also ensure we deliver a balanced portfolio of events that benefits our local community, and that legislative requirements are met.

We will be asking you if the draft Strategy's vision meets the community's needs and that the objectives will deliver on the vision. We will also ask about the current annual event program and what kind of events you prefer.

The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete and closes on Sunday 23 October 2022.
