2022 Inclusive Practices Conference CFP

Introduction

Region 4 Education Service Center invites educators to present at the Region 4 Inclusive Practices Conference on June 14-15, 2022.  This year's conference is going to be virtual.  Presenters will be asked to either present live or record 60 minute sessions. 

The conference program will feature sessions covering the following topics:
  • Access to the General Curriculum Aligned to the TEKS (K–12)
  • Achieving Rigorous Standards (e.g., General and Alternate Assessments)
  • Creating 21st Century Digital Learning Environments (e.g., AT, Digital Learning Tools)
  • Effective Classroom Management Practices
  • Implementing Effective Inclusive Practices (e.g., Co-Teaching, Master Scheduling)
  • Inclusive Practices for the Early Childhood Classroom
  • Instructional Design and Strategies
  • Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) (e.g., Progress Monitoring)
  • Transitions for Success from Birth to Post School
  • Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
The goal of the conference is to bring current and practical information to special education teachers, general education teachers, administrators, parents, and others.

Please complete each screen of the Presenters Application by March 25, 2022. All submissions will be carefully reviewed and selected based on criteria designed to serve the interests of the conference participants.
  • Acceptance/regrets will be sent via e-mail by April 18, 2022.
  • If accepted, session date and time will be e-mailed by May 31, 2022
Conference presenters will have admission to the conference at no cost. Payment and any associated costs for presenting will not be provided. Please note that Common Core Standards are not used in Texas and cannot be referenced by session presenters. In addition, Region 4 ESC will need to review all presentations and handouts from external presenters prior to the start of the conference.

Applicants should follow district procedures for obtaining permission to present before submitting this form.
