Survey on Trenton Channel (MCUTC) Sediment Cleanup Project

Thank you for accessing this survey.

Work is underway to investigate and cleanup part of the Trenton Channel that is known as the Monguagon Creek Upper Trenton Channel site (MCUTC).
The purpose of this survey is to collect information from many people who live and work in the area focused on their understanding, views, preferences and priorities related to the MCUTC cleanup work.

Work in the Trenton Channel is not limited to that in MCUTC, but this survey is specifically focused on MCUTC, which is described on the following page.
Further detail on the project background, site investigations, selection of cleanup options and the next steps for the project can be found in the Fact Sheet on the Environmental Protection Agency Detroit River Area of Concern website.

Sharing your perspective will make it easier for the cleanup to be completed in a way that is satisfactory to the public.

Your opinion matters: thank you for taking the time to share it.

Integral Consulting prepared this survey on MCUTC, on behalf of Bridgestone Americas Inc., and in cooperation with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Community involvement is facilitated by Friends of the Detroit River, the Detroit River Public Advisory Council, and Michigan Sea Grant.
