Community recovery from emergencies is best achieved when the affected community leads and participates in the project.

Hume City Council is actively seeking community members to be involved in shaping our Community Adaptation and Resilience Plan to ensure it is locally led and self-determined by our community. The Community Adaptation and Resilience Committee will assist Council in identifying the following:

Strategic decision making for a sustainable adaptation to the new COVID normal
Assist Council to identify community needs and how these can be met through planning and programs
Shape and build resilience through community led programs
Reconnect the community
