ND Indicator 6 Target Setting

Indicator 6A: LRE for Preschool Students: Regular Classroom 
The percent of children with IEPs aged 3, 4, and 5 who are enrolled in a preschool program attending a regular early childhood program and receiving the majority of special education and related services in the regular early childhood program.

The graph below shows the historical data for Indicator 6A. The baseline year is red. The target must be higher than the baseline year. The recommended target for 2025-26 is 25.00%. The table below shows the recommended targets between now and 2025-26.

5. In my opinion, the recommended target for 2025-26 is:
6. Do you approve the targets between 2020-21 and 2025-26?  Note that the increase in targets is small at the beginning and large at the end so that districts have time to change and improve their practices.
Indicator 6B: LRE for Preschool Students: Separate Settings
The percent of children with IEPs aged 3, 4, and 5 who are enrolled in a preschool program attending a separate special education class, separate school or residential facility.

The graph below shows the historical data for Indicator 6B. The baseline year is red. The target must be lower than the baseline year. The recommended target for 2025-26 is 38.00%. The table below shows the recommended targets between now and 2025-26.
