Foothills 2023 Scrambling Course Application

Welcome to the 2023 Foothills Alpine Scrambling Course Application!

We, the Foothills Scrambling Committee, are glad you're applying for the Alpine Scrambling course and look forward to instructing and scrambling with you this season. In order to ensure that all registered students fully understand the course requirements, each student must submit an application. This should take no more than 30 minutes to complete.

This course application will follow the following structure:

Basic info and prerequisites. You must be 18 years old and a member of The Mountaineers to register for the course. Guest members must become full members in order to register.
Course Requirements. There are a number of requirements necessary to finish the course. We will review these here.
Course Co-Requisites. Graduation from the Alpine Scrambling course is contingent on completing a number of requirements outside the course curriculum. We will review these here.
Course Policies. Covers cancellation and make-up policies for the course.

Selection Criteria

All applications will be processed in the order received. Applicants who agree to the course requirements will be allowed to register on a first-come, first-served basis.
