The DOE, in partnership with HMH, invites K-5 bilingual educators who are using the HMH ¡Arriba la Lectura! Spanish Language Arts curriculum to participate in a virtual professional learning opportunity held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm.  

During this two-hour workshop, participants will plan instruction and prioritize content based on the biliteracy/bilingual model they are implementing in their classroom and the HMH Into Reading resources they have adopted. 

 Learning Objectives:  

  • Prioritize instruction and content based on your biliteracy/bilingual model. 

  • Locate and manage resources based on students’ needs to enhance biliteracy/bilingual instruction. 

  • Prepare and teach lesson plans for whole- and small-group instruction within a bilingual setting.
