The DOE, in partnership with HMH, invites K-5 bilingual educators who are using the HMH ¡Arriba la Lectura! Spanish Language Arts curriculum to participate in a virtual professional learning opportunity held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm.  

During this one-hour workshop, participants will learn how to access and analyze data to accelerate student growth using ¡Arriba la Lectura! instructional strategies, resources, and assessments.   

 Learning Objectives:  

  • Describe the roles of screening and diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment in ¡Arriba la Lectura!  

  • Select appropriate assessments based on needs to monitor student learning.   

  • Analyze data to identify and use ¡Arriba la Lectura! instructional strategies and resources to accelerate growth.
