The DOE, in partnership with Estrellita, invites K-1 bilingual educators who are using the Estrellita foundational literacy program to participate in a virtual professional learning opportunity held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 3:00-5:00 pm. During this two-hour workshop, teachers new to the program or those who need a refresher will be provided with an in-depth review of the whole group and small group activities instrumental to the Sonidos component. During the training teachers will:

View a model of blending practices in a small group and whole group instruction.

Understand how to administer, record, and interpret the Formative Assessment.

Plan for differentiated centers based on data.
