A nonresident falconer must have a valid falconry license issued by the state or country in which the licensee resides to practice falconry in North Dakota. Any nonresident licensee who wishes to practice falconry in North Dakota must first register prior to participating.

Importation permits are not required if the nonresident falconer is importing a raptor(s) for 30 days or less. Contact the North Dakota Department of Agriculture State Board of Animal Health Animal Movement and Importation Requirements if importing raptors for longer than 30 days.
