Summit County Open Space and Trails Visioning Questionnaire

Welcome!

Summit County owns and manages over 17,000 acres of open space. These properties provide a variety of recreational opportunities including over 100 trailheads and trail portals, 100 miles of natural surface trails, 50 miles of dirt roads, and 35 miles of paved Recreational Pathways (i.e., the RecPath), some of which are co-managed with the Town of Breckenridge, Town of Frisco, and US Forest Service. These open spaces also protect important wildlife and vegetation habitats, provide buffers between communities, and preserve unique and fragile ecosystems. This questionnaire asks you to respond to future services and needs of open space and trails in the County. Your input is important to shaping the new Summit County Open Space and Trails Master Plan.
