Johnson County - Negative Economic Impacts Survey: Business Industry

Negative Economic Impacts Questionnaire: Business Industry

Johnson County wants your feedback on how to invest $29.3 million in ARPA Local Fiscal Recovery Funding. This questionnaire supplements an input session focused on understanding the negative economic impacts COVID-19 had on the residents of
Johnson County.

Johnson County invites residents and business owners to attend a public input session on Monday, September 13 at the Coralville Public Library, Meeting Room A, from 5:30-7 p.m. We understand that work schedules, childcare, and COVID-19 concerns prevent residents from participating in-person. This questionnaire allows residents to participate remotely.

For the purpose of this survey, we are utilizing the U.S. Treasury’s definitions of the following terms:

Does not include work performed via telework from a residence. Examples include: staff at nursing homes, hospitals, and home care settings; workers at farms, food production facilities, grocery stores, janitors and sanitation workers; public health and safety staff, childcare workers, educations and school staff; and employees of state, local or tribal governments.

Impacted Industry: Industries such as tourism, travel, and hospitality that were disproportionately impacted by closures to contain
the pandemic.
