WSDOT Website Study: Call for participantshttps://app.alchemer.com/account/index

Looking for volunteers to help us test our new website

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is redesigning its website and planning to test the new website with travelers in Washington state. We want to know what works well about our new site and what needs improvement; we want your feedback!

We are looking for volunteers to participate in a website study in early October.

What will I be doing?

During your individual study session, the facilitator will show you the new website and ask you to use it to complete a few tasks. We will record how well the website performs and get your overall impressions.

Who are you looking for?

We are looking for people who use assistive technologies to navigate websites and have varied levels of comfort and experience with technology.

When is the study?

The study is scheduled for October 6-8. We will work with each participant to schedule a date and time.

What do I need to participate?

All you need is a reliable internet connection and a desktop computer with a camera and microphone.

How long will it take?

The online session will last approximately 60-90 minutes and will be held using Zoom.

Will I be compensated for participation?

If you are selected and participate, you will receive a $100 check (sent via postal mail or Paypal) as a thank you.

What else do I need to know?

By providing your contact information, your name will be entered into a pool of potential participants. If you're selected, WSDOT's research firm, Anthro-Tech, will contact you this week with more information and to schedule your session.

Participation is voluntary and confidential.

1. Please select the weekdays and times that you are typically available and could participate in a 60 to 90 minute online study session. Timing is flexible depending on set up, accommodations, and questions.  If you are selected, we will work with you to schedule your exact session time.
