2022 Virtual Support Group Leader Training

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer chronic pain support group leader. The program is designed to train peer leaders and health care professionals* to work with people with chronic pain and their families in a group setting.

The next training will be held virtually via Zoom meetings over a four-week period from January 11 to February 3, 2022. The training sessions will be each Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4:00 pm ET.

To apply, please fill out the form below no later than December 3, 2021. Applications will be reviewed by clinical director of Pain Connection, Gwenn Herman, who will then schedule a phone interview. Accepted applicants must attend every training session and be seen on camera.

*For health care professionals, there is an associated fee of $300 to attend. This covers the training, manual, materials, and monthly group supervision meetings.
