Western Welcome 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. 
Stop in for our annual Western Welcome at the Welcome Center at Taylor Hall on Friday, October 8, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Catch up with former classmates, browse through old yearbooks and launch a guided tour of campus. Light refreshments will be served.   *This question is required.
Parade down Main Street 
Join us for the annual Homecoming Parade 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 8, on Main Street. If you would like to have a float in the parade, please email lead@western.edu.   *This question is required.
Paul M. Rady Building Community Grand Opening start at 6:00 p.m.
In celebration of the official ribbon cutting for the new Rady Building, home of the Paul M. Rady School of Computer Science and Engineering, join us as we open this beautiful new addition to our campus and tour the 75,000 sq. foot center for collaboration and innovation. Food and drinks will be provided.  *This question is required.
Class of '71 50-year reunion (all graduates from the class of 1971 and earlier are welcome) 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Celebrate your 50th reunion with your fellow 1971 graduates! Don't miss this huge milestone event. Friday night at the Paul M. Rady Building, there will be a slideshow presentation by Dr. Duane Vandenbusche *This question is required.
The Lighting of the W 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. 
Take in the traditional lighting of the "W" on Tenderfoot Mountain from the new Paul M. Rady building while enjoying complimentary food and drinks along with the company of fellow alumni. The "W" will be lit at 8:15 p.m.  *This question is required.

Top O' the World 100-year reunion 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. 
The Top O' the World newspaper club will celebrate their 100-year reunion in the Leslie J. Savage Library from 10–11.30 am. Join in for some coffee and the company of fellow club members and fellow alumni.   *This question is required.
Class of '71 reunion coffee 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. 
Celebrate your 50th reunion with the company of your fellow 1971 graduates. Located in the Leslie J. Savage Library, join us for a cup of coffee before the tailgate begins.   *This question is required.
Alumni tailgate 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 
This year's tailgate will be taking place in the Paul Wright Gymnasium parking lot starting at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 9. Our Mountaineers are taking on New Mexico Highlands for this year's homecoming game. The kick-off is Saturday, October 9, at 1 pm in the Mountaineer Bowl.    *This question is required.
Will you participate in the Day of Service on October 10? 
Western students are proud to announce the Fall Day of Service, which will be held during Homecoming Weekend on Sunday, October 10. We are calling all change-makers in the Gunnison Valley to perform individual acts of kindness through service to others! Volunteers will participate in a service project with a non-profit, organization, or community member in need. When resources and citizens come together with purpose, communities grow and prosper!   *This question is required.
