GRITS Gold Medal Challenge

We’d like your help awarding a gold, silver and bronze medal to our most deserving competing features.

All of the 9 features listed below have been in training for years but they need your help getting on the podium. The three medalist features will win the exciting prize of going from the drawing board to being implemented by our team and available for everyone to enjoy.

Please review the contenders below and select 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medalist on the list and then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. This should take about 2 minutes.

The Closing Ceremony takes places on August 8 and that’s also when voting will end here.

SIMAP Sync
Create a sync feature between GRITS and SIMAP to allow for your carbon emissions inventory and related energy data to be shared between the two platforms.

EnergyCap Sync
Create a sync feature between GRITS and EnergyCap to allow for your energy meter and related utility data to be shared between the two platforms.

Expand EnergyStar Portfolio Manager Sync
Expand the existing sync feature between GRITS and Portfolio Manager to allow for your energy meter and related utility data to be shared between the two platforms.

Second Nature Reporting Platform Sync
Create a sync feature between GRITS and Second Nature Reporting Platform to allow for your carbon and energy data to be automatically shared between the two platforms.

Add a Social Cost of Carbon Function
Create a feature to allow you to enter a specific dollar amount per metric ton Social Cost of Carbon and see how different prices impact the business case / financial analysis for a project.

Add Self-Guided Trainings
Build in a set of self-guided tours and trainings to GRITS so that both new and existing users can learn how to better use the platform and discover features with which they may not be familiar.

GRITS Goals Public Dashboard
Create a new Goals Public Dashboard and shareable link option to allow you embed a live feed of your Goals carbon or energy reduction plans in a dashboard view on your own website or link to the whole scenario in GRITS Goals.

Project ScoreCard
Create a new GRITS Project Scorecard feature to allow you to embed onto your own website a live feed of any project you're tracking in GRITS -- with the option to customize the photo and metrics included.

Building ScoreCard
Create a new GRITS Building Scorecard feature to allow you to embed onto your own website a live feed of any building you're tracking in GRITS -- with the option to customize the photo and metrics included.
