2021 CLEL Conference Volunteer Application

Thanks for your interest in volunteer opportunities to earn free registration to the 2021 CLEL (Colorado Libraries for Early Literacy) Conference! The event will be online Oct 6-8. The first day will be a 4-hour preconference providing training from the Reimagining School Readiness project. A full day Leadership Institute will be held on October 7, and the main conference on October 8. Learn more about the conference on the CLEL website: https://www.clel.org/conference.

CLEL is providing an additional opportunity to volunteer for free conference attendance by editing the captions and creating transcripts for two hours of recorded conference sessions using YouTube studio. This volunteer effort will take approx. 4-5 hours following the conference. There are 12 opportunities available through this volunteer experience.

This opportunity will provide free attendance to all 3 days of the event.

Eligibility: Library staff, volunteers, and students are all eligible for these opportunities. 

Applications are due September 6, 2021.

Applicants will be notified by email by September 10 about the status of their application.

The preconference will be limited to 100 participants. (Your answer has no impact on the selection process.)
