Thank you for your interest in the
Julie Beren Platt Teen Innovation Grants (TIG), a program of the
Los Angeles Jewish Teen Initiative (LAJTI). LAJTI is a community-wide initiative aimed to dramatically enhance the landscape of Jewish LA for teens and provide them with meaningful, personal, and relevant opportunities for engagement in Jewish life. LAJTI is co-funded by The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Jim Joseph Foundation, with funding from the Jewish Community Foundation. We value how teens’ passions, talents, and creativity can help shape our Jewish community. This program encourages teens to take risks, develop impactful projects, and create meaningful connections with others.
The
Julie Beren Platt Teen Innovation Grants (TIG) program is designed for rising 8th-12th grade high school students. The TIG application closes on October 1, 2021. Our LAJTI team will conduct telephone interviews with selected applicants in September and October. The 2021-22
