BQL 2021

9 September 2021, 2.30-5pm / Regent Street Cinema / Free to attend

The event experience is changing like never before. So how can event organisers create an emotional connection with attendees through new digital or hybrid formats? How can their events reach the potentially national or global audiences that these formats bring? And how can the latest event technology provide crucial data insights? We bring together leading event experts to answer the big questions at our forthcoming live event in the chic Art Deco setting of London's Regent Street Cinema (and coming later to on-demand).

Traditionally, mass events like conferences or open days have been crucial in creating emotional experiences for attendees, as well as providing important bonding and networking opportunities – all of which can be challenging to recreate in digital and hybrid formats. On the other hand, shifting events wholly or partly online can massively increase your reach, potentially connecting your organisation with audiences worldwide.

Meanwhile virtual and hybrid events can offer greater data insights than ever before. With the right approach and the right technology, event planners can create experiences that feel more personal and engaging than ever, while growing their audience and delivering on ROI.
We’ll be debating the key topics facing event organisers in every industry, and discussing what successful hybrid and digital events look like, at Big Questions Live, brought to you jointly by C&IT and Third Sector, in partnership with events specialist Cvent.
A limited number of audience places will be available at our inspiring afternoon of panel sessions, as C&IT editor Calum Di Lieto and Third Sector editor Emily Burt join a range of experts from across industry sectors to discuss the issues facing the industry.
