F-1 visa students need to fill out the F-1 SEVIS Transfer Out Request form to transfer their I-20s to their new school. The transfer of your SEVIS record must be done no later than 60 days after the last day of enrollment or end date of OPT.
If you are a current student and want to transfer your I-20 to another institution before the current semester ends, please know that transferring your I-20 means that you are withdrawing from all the courses you are currently enrolled in and there could be financial charges. *Please refer to Academic Catalog to find out more about financial charges.
If you are on CPT or OPT, please understand that your CPT or OPT will get terminated as soon as Central transfers your I-20 to another institution.
Your request will be processed within 5 business days and please prepare to upload following documents.
- A copy of your Official Admission Letter to your new school
- International Student Transfer Form from your new school (if applicable)
