ISQ 2021 What Parents Want

About the Survey

Thank you for choosing to participate in the What Parents Want - an Independent Schools Queensland survey. The information you provide will enable Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ) - and your school - to gather information regarding the decision-making processes that parents undertake when selecting an independent school, as well as the reasons leading to their final choice.

Please complete the survey only if you have a child currently enrolled in an independent school.

If you have more than one child who attends an independent school, please complete the survey thinking about the child who most recently commenced at an independent school. All responses should relate only to this child, and the reasons you chose an independent school for this child.

The survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

A full report of the survey results is made available to schools and key stakeholder groups across the sector. A key findings summary report is also made available publicly; see the "2018 Key Findings" report on the ISQ website.

By proceeding to the questionnaire, you understand that:
  • ISQ will not be collecting personal information (as defined by the Privacy Act 1988) and will not be able to identify you by the information you provide in your responses to this survey.
  • All information collected during the What Parents Want survey is collected for the purposes of the survey as provided above.
  • ISQ will provide the information collected during the What Parents Want survey to a third party agent who is responsible for the analysis and reporting of the data to Independent Schools Queensland.
  • All information collected during the What Parents Want survey is collected through Alchemer. The data is held by Alchemer in Colorado, USA and protected by their Privacy Policy.
