Activist Training Camp - Online 2021

The goal of this one day online training is for participants to learn, understand and engage on:
  • Skills-share opportunities with other SEIU-West activists
  • Why Politics Matter and Building an Inclusive Front
  • Goal Setting/Strategic thinking/Planning your activism
  • Activities to enhance your organizing, communication, and leadership skills
This course is designed for any member who is interested in expanding their activism on a broader scale in their community.

Due to COVID-19, we will be hosting this course online, using Zoom. Once you have registered, we will group participants based on location and interest, then let you know your training date. The one day online training will take place on August 25, 2021 with a second session offered the following day, August 26, 2021.

Your Union will cover the costs of 15 participants per session.  Expenses will be reimbursed to a maximum of one day lost wages/honorarium.
