Fall 2021 N.E.A.T. Educator Application

About the N.E.A.T. Program
The Knox County Health Department (KCHD) is a local health department that provides essential public health services to its residents. KCHD manages the N.E.A.T. (Nutrition Education Activity Training) Program. The N.E.A.T. Program partners with afterschool organizations in Knox County to teach and promote healthy behaviors among elementary school students. The N.E.A.T. Program facilitates weekly nutrition education lessons at afterschool programs to teach healthy behaviors. N.E.A.T. Lessons include basic nutrition messages and a physical activity exercise specifically designed for the afterschool time.

 
N.E.A.T. Educator Position Description

N.E.A.T. Educators teach and facilitate N.E.A.T. lessons at partner afterschool sites in Knox County. N.E.A.T. Educators use N.E.A.T. Curriculum to teach elementary school students basic nutrition education and lead physical activity exercises to reinforce key points from the lesson.
