UCF College Dorm Move Outs-Spring 2021

The University of Central Florida Housing and Residence Life Department is pleased to announce our partnership with Suddath Relocation Systems of Orlando. We are here to help during this difficult time and have partnered with Suddath to offer you a thorough and detailed process to pack and move your personal belongings from your apartment.
 
As part of this service, Suddath Relocation Systems of Orlando will:
  • Set an appointment with you to remove your items from your room. Please be sure to identify and separate your items versus that of your roommates. Suddath is not responsible for identifying your items. Suddath cannot pack any hazardous materials like aerosols, paints, chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, etc. 
  • Suddath will wrap and pack your belongings into boxes & Suddath “Speed-Packs”. Speed Packs are very large boxes that consolidate small items and boxes. Suddath will use multiple speed packs as necessary. This provides more care, custody, and control for your belongings.
  • Suddath has included the removal of oversized items like mini-fridges, chairs and sports equipment in the local scope of services..
  • Suddath has included the services to dispose or recycle any items you do not wish to ship in the scope of services.
  • Store or ship your items based on your preference. Shipping charges are additional. 
Packing & Removal Package $750.00
What is Included:
  •  All labor necessary to pack up and remove all of your belongings from your apartment, including mini-refrigerators chairs and sports equipment. Please note that oversized items may have an effect on shipping charges.
  •  All packing materials necessary to ensure your items remain safe during transport or storage (bubble wrap, packing paper, multi-ply moving pads, etc)
  • An inventory of the number of boxes and other items. (This inventory will not include number of clothing, number of books, etc.)
  •  All transport services from your residence to Suddath’s warehouse
  • Storage of your items for 30 days
  • Suddath will charge $75.00/month after the first 30 days.

Storage and Shipping Options
Storage (Most Popular):
Once your belongings have been packed, Suddath will store them at their Orlando warehouse located on 4850 LB McLeod Road, Orlando, FL 32811. Suddath will assign you a unique order number that identifies you and your shipment. This order number tracks your shipment during all times until your personal belongings are delivered back to you. Suddath’s warehouse is a gated and secured facility 24/7. Access to your shipment is by appointment only. Your personal belongings will be safe and secure.

Option 1: Storage and self-retrieval of belongings
Items will be available for pick up by appointment only. Please reach out to the Suddath representative to make an appointment.
  • $75.00 per month storage fee after the first 30 days. This fee is a flat fee per month. Suddath cannot pro-rate storage.

Option 2: Storage and delivery of belongings back to your community
  • $75.00 per month storage fee after the first 30 days. This fee is a flat fee per month. Suddath cannot pro-rate storage.
  • Suddath will gladly deliver your items back to main campus and to a different community on UCF main campus if your housing assignment changed from the Summer to Fall semester. The delivery fee is $350.00.
All removal and storage charges must be paid in full before the release of the shipment.

Option 3: Shipping of belongings back to your home or place of residence.

Shipping:
  • Suddath will charge $150.00 for warehouse handling and administration to assist you with the shipping arrangements.
  • Shipping charges vary based on weight and the distance that the shipment is traveling, plus any oversized items as applicable.
  • Shipping methods will be Parcel Services for small box shipments, parcel freight services for large box shipments and truck freight for large box shipments that include oversized items.
  • Shipping charges will be quoted per student request and based on the size of the shipment.
  • All removal and storage charges must be paid in full before shipping.

Damage and Loss Liability for All Services
Suddath’s legally limited damage or loss liability is limited to sixty cents ($.60) per pound per item no matter the value of the item.
