Following serious stress and safety issues arising from an overburdened health system, the ANMF (SA Branch) is inviting members to participate in a Nurses and Midwives Fatigue and Organisational Climate Survey.
With unprecedented demand for hospital beds and chronic overcapacity across the state impacting adversely on staff and patients alike, the ANMF believes the results of the survey will illustrate to LHNs the urgent need to put in place the SA Health Fatigue Management Framework, and also provide an avenue for action through WHS
The 10-minute survey, which will run until the end of May, will help highlight the current issues relating to fatigue and how best to address them, for the mental, emotional and physical wellbeing of nurses and midwives and those in their care.
Member participation will be confidential.
