SHE-CAN Employer Consortium Information

We are very happy to have you join our SHE-CAN Employer Consortium. The mission of the SHE-CAN Employer Consortium is to provide pathways for our educated, empowered, and networked female leaders to obtain internships and employment in Rwanda, Cambodia, Liberia, and Guatemala and for companies and organizations in these countries to have access to high-quality candidates for employment and internship opportunities.

SHE-CAN will provide the following for Employer Consortium Members:
  1. Provide early access to the database of SHE-CAN scholars seeking employment
  2. Send a curated list of candidates, their CVs, and bios who fit the employer's specific employment needs
  3. Offer a single point of contact to the employer for all interested SHE-CAN scholars and graduates
  4. Provide administrative services for SHE-CAN candidates during the hiring process, including scheduling interviews or meetings, helping with visa issues, or obtaining college credit for work (if needed)
​Employer Consortium Members agree to the following:
  1. Provide a contact person and meet the eligibility criteria of having offices or a meaningful presence in Cambodia, Liberia, Rwanda, or Guatemala
  2. Provide a fair, safe, and non-discriminatory workplace that meets all legal employment standards or requirements of the country where the work is taking place
  3. Agree to have your organization’s name and logo listed on the SHE-CAN Employer Consortium website page and allow SHE-CAN to list the name(s) of SHE-CAN scholars who work or have worked at your organization
  4. Agree to review the CV's SHE-CAN provides and provide brief feedback on the performance of anyone hired as an intern.
