Home Energy Savings Survey

Home Energy Survey

This is the 2021 Survey. if you are looking for the 2022 Winter Survey, please click here!
Town Energy Committees and volunteers around the Upper Valley are partnering with Vital Communities to connect folks to programs that help them stay comfortable and save money this year and in years to come. Whether it's 95 degrees and you can't keep cool, or when it's below zero and you can't keep warm, there is a solution for every home.

With this survey, we are hoping to learn about tips and strategies you've used to bring down your energy bills. We'll then share those tips with others so we can all benefit from low energy costs. With your permission, we'll also use your response to provide you with information on the energy savings programs of interest to you.

Thank you!

18. Would you consider sharing your experiences about lowering your energy costs so that others can learn from your experience and reduce their energy bills?
The energy savings programs mentioned in this survey are great resources for our Upper Valley neighbors, but they're not perfect. Vital Communities has an opportunity to share your feedback with program providers to help make these programs work better, and even to imagine new programs that would help in new ways. We also want to improve our own efforts in engaging local communities.

But we need your help. You know better than anyone what it's like to heat your home, to keep energy bills low, or to try and apply for these programs. You also know better than anyone where programs do - or don't - actually help you in the ways you need help.

Would you be willing to share your thoughts and experiences? This would likely involve one or more phone calls or virtual meetings with Vital Communities staff or volunteers, and we have grant funding to compensate you for your time. Are you interested in learning more about this opportunity? (If you check "yes", a volunteer or staff person will follow up by phone).  This would be separate from the Raffle Prizes, which you are entered into automatically if you check "yes" on the Raffle Question in this survey.
