Servicing 19.5" Tires Store Certification

Introduction

Hello, Store Managers and Safety Leaders,

Your store has been selected to be part of our Servicing 19.5" Tires pilot.

Growing Responsibly: To prepare you to service 19.5" tires, we have worked with previous pilot stores to put together the following Store Certification checklist.

What You Need To Know

In order for your store to be able to Service 19.5" tires, you must complete the following Store Certification.

In order to complete the Store Certification, you must:

Step 1: Verify that all Store Certification requirements are met.
Step 2: Collect photos and upload using the following form.
Step 3: Wait for your Regional Staff to review the photos and provide approval.

Your store will be notified when the Store Certification has been approved so you can start servicing 19.5" tires.

The following is a breakdown of all the items that need to be completed, in order to achieve the Store Certification for Servicing 19.5" Tires. If you need details on how to order any of the items please go to the KC.

Requirements

NOTE: To Service 19.5" assemblies you are required to have either a Coats Maxx 208V tire changer, a Hunter Auto 34 tire changer, or a hunter maverick tire changer.

Coats MAXX 208V Tire Changer

Requirement	Quantity Required	Support
Coats MAXX 208V Tire Changer How to identify? Electrical Plug	At least 1 per store	This tire changer requires a 220V electrical plug. If this is not available, you will need to work with your Regional Staff.
Tire Changer - Steel Duckhead	At least 1 per store
Tire Changer - Steel Table Clamp	At least 1 set per store

Hunter Auto 34/Maverick Tire Changer

Requirement	Quantity Required	Support
Hunter Auto 34 Tire Changer	At least 1 per store
Hunter Auto 34 Adapter	At least 1 per store	The adapter will be drop shipped to you once your AVP approves your store.
Hunter Maverick Tire Changer	At least 1 per store

Additional Tools/Equipment

✓	Requirement	Quantity Required
	10-ton Jack	At least 1 per store, 2 preferred
	3/4" Torque Wrench	At least 1 per store
	MAST Air Gauge	At least 1 per store

Accessories

The following accessories are required. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks after your store is qualified for the balancing beads and heavy duty valve stems to arrive.

	Heavy Duty Valve Stems	1 case	These will be auto-ordered and shipped to your store.
	10oz and 12oz Balancing Beads	At least 1 case (approximately 40 bags)	These will be auto-ordered and shipped to your store.

The following training courses were recently launched within the last few months. As part of the Store Certification, all employees must complete the following courses:

Store Signage

The following store signage is required. When ordering the new blast zone poster be sure to order enough to replace all of the old white blast zone posters you currently have hanging in your store.
