2020–21 CAASPP and ELPAC Virtual Feedback for Continuous Improvement Focus Groups

Interest Form

Thank you for applying to attend a California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) focus group.

ETS, under direction from the California Department of Education, will hold virtual focus groups to collect feedback on the CAASPP and ELPAC administrations that were scheduled to occur across California this spring. We thank you for your hard work and efforts to participate in this unique administration. Your feedback is extremely valuable as we continue to support local educational agencies (LEAs) in distance and hybrid learning.

Focus groups will be held in May 2021. Depending on your role in administering the assessments, these focus groups will discuss your experience with administering various parts of the CAASPP or the ELPAC. Each virtual focus group will concentrate on issues related to preparation and training, challenges encountered, and lessons learned from the 2020–21 administration. The information gathered will inform and contribute to planning for the 2021–22 administration year.
Each focus group will last approximately 90 minutes. To participate fully in a virtual focus group, participants will need access to a device that is connected to the internet, a webcam, and a microphone.

To be considered for participation, please complete this online interest form by Monday, May 3, 2021.
