Onondaga County: Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Application


Thank you for entering the Onondaga County COVID Emergency Rental Relief Application for tenants and landlords.

Please read these instructions carefully before continuing. Incomplete or incorrect information will result in a delay of review and, if never completed or corrected, a denial of your application.

Fill out this application and forms completely. It will help the Department of Social Services (DSS) determine for which program(s) you may be eligible. Note: Restrictions or other requirements may apply.

Note for landlords: Landlords applying will be asked to provide basic information, but your tenants will also need to complete the full application. Landlord applications must be completed by the legal property owner or a representative who has power of attorney.

Please note that time is needed to review a completed application and to make an eligibility determination.  If a tenant is eligible, please expect that a payment will take up to 40 days from the application submission date.
