Mentee Application

Welcome to Mentor Chippewa!

About Us
Mentor Chippewa* is a local nonprofit based in Chippewa Falls that connects caring adults with youth through school-based mentoring. By working closely with area schools, we provide a safe, supportive environment where youth can build strong, positive relationships with trusted adults.

Our Mission
Our mission is to foster the personal growth and well-being of youth through meaningful one-on-one mentoring relationships that provide guidance, support, and opportunities for positive development.

Why Mentoring Matters
Research shows that having another supportive adult in a youth's life can improve their self-esteem, school engagement, and social skills. Our mentors are background-checked, trained, continually supported by program staff and committed to making a positive difference in your child’s day—and in their future.

How it Works
Students meet with their mentor once a week for 30 minutes during the regular school day. All meetings happen at school, in a supervised setting, and follow the school calendar. We work with school staff to ensure mentoring fits smoothly into your child’s school routine.
