Application - Fields-CQAM Thematic Program on Integrative Modeling of Emerging Infectious Disease Outbreaks (May 1 - June 30, 2021)

Thank you for your interest in the Fields-CQAM Thematic Program on Integrative Modeling of Emerging Infectious Disease Outbreaks, which is taking place online from May 1 - June 30, 2021. 

Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows with relevant experience and an interest in working in one of these Study Groups are invited to apply for a scholarship or fellowship via this form:

1. Integrative models to quantify burden of COVID-19 on society (Integrative Models);
2. Evaluating roles of vaccination on economic recovery and growth (Vaccination);
3. Mathematics behind wastewater testing as an early warning tool (Wastewater)

Graduate Student Scholarship: CAD $2000 for May 1-June 30, 2021

Postdoctoral Fellowship: CAD $6000 for May 1-June 30, 2021. 

Please note that these engagements are not supposed to supplant current work or stipends. Working in a Thematic Program Study Group should be taken on in addition to your existing work. Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows who are invited to participate in a Study Group will have to invoice the Fields Institute for their stipend and will have to handle any income tax implications on their own.
