Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine at HSS

Eligibility Criteria

Please answer the screening questions on the following pages to determine your eligibility.

HSS is following all New York State Department of Health guidelines to distribute our supply of the COVID-19 vaccine. Currently, the vaccine can be administered to the following groups:
  • Healthcare workers
  • Individuals age 65 and older (and NY state resident)
  • Funeral workers with direct contact with infectious materials and bodily fluids
  • Public health workers with direct patient care responsibilities
  • Home care workers and aides, hospice workers, personal care aides, and consumer-directed personal care workers
  • Teachers and education workers
  • First responders
  • Public safety workers
  • Public transit workers
  • Restaurant workers and restaurant delivery drivers
  • NYC TLC-Licensed Drivers
  • Eligible congregate facility staff and clients
  • Individuals with qualifying comorbidities/underlying conditions (and NY state resident)

If your primary workplace is a New York City hospital, you must obtain the vaccine from your employer.
