Green School Renewal Application

INSTRUCTIONS



The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) applauds your decision to continue to participate in the Florida Green School Designation Program by illustrating your commitment to protecting and conserving Florida's environment. You truly illustrate your commitment to protecting and conserving Florida's environment.

To complete the Florida Green School Designation Program Renewal Application, you must conduct and document ongoing employee education and must implement at least two new environmental practices from any of the five areas of sustainable operations: (1) Communication and Education (Students, Parents, Faculty and Staff); (2) Waste Reduction, Reuse and Recycling; (3) Water Conservation; (4) Energy Efficiency; and (5) Air Quality and Transportation.

All new environmental practices must be implemented prior to submitting the renewal application. 

Once our renewal application has been received, the Florida Green School Designation Program will evaluate your application and documentation, and notify you of your renewal status.
