Community Input: Oakland Workforce Development Board Local Plan 2021-24

Survey Background

The Oakland Workforce Development Board (OWDB) mobilizes leaders from business, economic development, education, labor, community-based organizations, and public agencies to align resources and investments for residents who need assistance with developing skills that help expand access to high-quality jobs and careers offering income mobility.

The OWDB's desired equitable outcome is for all Oaklanders to have economic security and equitable access to workforce development services.

The OWDB is in the process of developing its 2021-24 Local Plan, which describes how the OWDB will use its funding. As part this process, OWDB is holding public meetings and using a survey to collect community input.

If you are interested in attending a meeting, please RSVP using the links below:  If you are interested in taking the survey, please continue to the questions below.
How the survey results will be used.

The survey results will be analyzed by Resource Development Associates (RDA), an Oakland-based consulting organization. Survey respondent information will be kept anonymous. RDA will share summary-level input with the OWDB.
