Savour the South Application Form

Welcome back to Savour the South - Eat, Drink, Play, Stay. A Hospitality New Zealand promotion for Food, Beverage and Accommodation outlets encompassing the entire Southland area & promoting Southlands finest products.

From the 1st April until the 30th April 2023, this will be a true Gourmet Engagement including fantastic food and beverage matching.
We are excited for it's third year and are inviting operators to host their own unique ticketed events that we can help promote.

We would love to have your establishment join us presenting some tantalising Southland prized fare on your menu along with accommodating guests as they travel around Southland to Savour the South.

Guidelines:

Food & Beverage:
- The hero of the dish must be produced and sourced in Southland.
- The beverage pairing must be as local as possible.

Accommodation:
- Our message will be to Book Direct & Save to entice out-of-towners.

Events:
- Host a unique, ticketed event.
- Great South are able to help out with additional marketing.

Tips for taking great food photos

Take photos under natural light. Do not use overhead lights or lamps or your built-in flash.
Move around to find the best light source. Don't feel confined to taking photos in your kitchen.
Try taking photos from multiple angles.
Minimize clutter.
