  • Rule Purpose – This rule defines employer equivalent plan and provides guidance on which features of employer equivalent plans need to be equivalent or better than benefits or leave durations provided through the Oregon Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program. The rule also provides guidance on the amount of contributions employers may withhold from employees’ wages for the employer equivalent plan and on the length of time to issue the first payment of benefits under such a plan.
