PRIM&R Guest Blog Application

PRIM&R invites motivated research ethics professionals with strong writing skills and an interest in writing about ethical considerations in research to share their perspectives on current issues in the field. These contributions will be considered for publication on Ampersand, PRIM&R’s blog. Please use this application to submit ideas for a guest blog post.

If you are interested in being a member of the Blog Squad for a PRIM&R event, fill out this application instead.

If you are chosen to be a guest contributor, we'll work with you to determine a schedule for the post. Potential guest authors should review and consider our guest blogging procedure and our guest blogging agreement before applying.

If you have any questions, please contact PRIM&R's Marketing and Communications Assistant, Noah Rae-Grant, at nraegrant@primr.org.

If you're looking for ideas, consider sharing your experience with:

  • Equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts at your institution
  • Working from home as an IRB/IACUC professional: what have you learned working remotely during the pandemic, and what strategies might you continue to apply to your work going forward?
  • Being a new IRB/IACUC administrator: what advice might you share with your former self?
  • Becoming an unofficial representative of "science" outside of work experiences: any questions you find yourself answering, or things you find yourself explaining, to family and friends?
  • Any recent PRIM&R events; check out the Blog Squad tag for examples!

**If you experience difficulty uploading files to your application, please fill in the rest of the information requested in the application and click submit (you'll get an error message saying your application has not been submitted, but a partial application will be filed in our system and we'll have your name and contact information on file to follow-up). You can then send the requested files (outline/summary, biography, and photo) directly to nraegrant@primr.org and we will add them to your partial application.
