Picton Opportunities Project

Introduction

Marlborough District Council has commissioned Visitor Solutions to undertake an initial feasibility study on three potential development opportunities for Picton:
  •  A heritage / environmental centre
  •  A mountain bike park
  •  An aquatic / pool facility

The purpose of the initial feasibility study is to determine the preliminary scope of the opportunities, the likely costs and the potential economic and community impacts. The study will help the Council determine if any or all of the opportunities should be explored in more detail.

This survey will help inform the study's understanding of the community’s views on these opportunities. There are a mix of tick box options to indicate your preferences and open-ended text responses where you can explain more. The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete.

The survey closes on Tuesday 2nd February 2021.

Note:
  • All survey responses will be collated and summarised so individual responses can not be identified.  However, some comments may be used as quotes in the report but will not be identifiable to any one person.
  • There will be a further opportunity for community input into the feasibility study.  If you wish to be kept informed about the study, please record your contact details at the end of the survey
