Curricular Practical Training (=CPT) Recommendation Request Form

  • 졸업을 하거나 CBTS 내 다른 학과 프로그램으로 옮기거나 혹은 다른 학교로 편입시, CPT는 자동 종료됩니다. When the student graduates from the program, begins study at another education level, or transfers to another school, the authorization to engage in CPT employment is automatically terminated. 

  • CPT를 사용 중인 학생들은 이름, 주소, 고용 상태 등에 변화가 생겼을 때 변동사항을 센트럴의 International Office에 알릴 책임이 있습니다. While on CPT, students are responsible for reporting name changes, address changes, and changes/disruptions of employment to the DSO.  

  • 센트럴에 CPT 신청서를 제출하기 전, 어느 직장에서 어떤 일을 할 때 CPT를 사용할 것인지를 고용인과 미리 상의해야하고 CPT는 전공과 관련된 분야에서 일할 때만 사용할 수 있음을 기억하십시오. Before the CPT Request form is submitted, employment must be secured and it must be directly related to your field of study.   

  • 첫 5년 간은 Social Security Tax를 내지 않아도 되지만 연방정부세, 각 주에 내는 세금와 소득세는 납부하셔야 합니다. Although you are exempt from Social Security Tax (FICA) for the first five years, you are subject to federal, state, and local income taxes.
