I request that Minnesota Power remove or disable the interruptible controller and change the interruptible service meter to a firm electric rate. The monthly customer charge and usage will continue to be billed for all meters left in service. Note – This option is not applicable to subtractive metering installations.
I request that Minnesota Power remove or disable the interruptible controller and associated meter. I understand it is the property owner’s responsibility to have any existing wiring transferred to the firm electrical service and provide Minnesota Power a copy of the Request for Electrical Inspection.
I request that Minnesota Power remove or disable the interruptible controller and associated meter. The customer-owned electric heating equipment will be removed or remain de-energized.

Subtractive metering configurations (controlled access meter installed downstream of the firm electric service) are no longer supported by Minnesota Power metering equipment. Once disconnected, these installations will not be reconnected. Any Customer request to return to an controlled access rate would require construction of a second service.

By completing this form, I acknowledge that I will no longer be on the controlled access rate.

Per Electric Service Regulations of Minnesota Power, paragraph 49, if a customer requests a rate schedule change, the Customer may not go back to the previous rate schedule for a period of twelve months.

I understand that if after 12 months I request to return to the controlled access rate, all associated costs with reinstatement will be my responsibility.
