2021 Women of Distinction Nomination Form



Do you know a woman who's an exceptional business or community leader?

11 Northern Colorado women will be honored for their achievements in business, philanthropic and government organizations at BizWest's 2021 Northern Colorado Women of Distinction. This evening cocktail event will be held on August 26, 2021.

Let's get started with the nomination process! As you complete this nomination form, please note there are questions to which an answer or response is required. These items are marked with an asterisk, and you will not be able to complete your nomination if these areas are left unanswered.

Nomination Criteria
The Northern Colorado Women of Distinction will be chosen through the following process:
  • Nominations must be received by Friday, May 28, 2021.
  • Anyone in the greater Northern Colorado area may nominate a candidate.
  • All nominations must be complete with all questions answered. Incomplete nominations will not be accepted.
  • The nominee will be asked to submit a current resume and cover letter.
  • A panel of previous Women of Distinction honorees, plus two staff representatives from BizWest, will evaluate the nominations, designate finalists in each category and select winners.

Eligibility:
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Nominees must live or work in Northern Colorado (Larimer or Weld counties)
  • A candidate may be nominated for only one award.
  • A candidate will not be considered for a category in which she has previously been an honoree.
  • A candidate may be nominated for a category in which she was not previously honored though she may have been an honoree in a different category.
  • A candidate will be considered for a category different from the one she won in the past.
