2021 CSC Call For Presentations

The Construction SuperConference is now accepting proposals for the annual event to be held at the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek in Orlando, FL, December 6-8, 2021. The Construction SuperConference is regarded as one of the leading industry events for construction owners, contractors, general counsel, and construction attorneys.  All presentation proposals are due no later than EOD Friday, March 19, 2021. EXTENSION: EOD FRIDAY, MARCH 26, 2021.

CONFERENCE FORMAT 
Each educational session is 75 minutes, which allows for audience participation and interaction. Each session should be focused on providing high-level educational content befitting this premier conference. The target audience is construction attorneys, construction industry general counsel, construction industry executives representing developers, government, design professionals, and contractors. 86% of attendees at the conference have worked in the industry for 11 years or more.

EVALUATION OF SESSION PROPOSALS

All Session Proposals are reviewed by the Conference Advisory Board. The review focuses on the relevance and importance of the proposed topic, the quality of each Proposal and its proposed Panel as well as the appropriateness of the proposed session in the context of the overall conference content. Proposed speaker panels should be balanced to include a strong presence of industry practitioners, such as general counsel and industry executives. Successful proposals typically propose 3 or 4 speakers, including the moderator.  

PRESENTER GUIDELINES 
  • Presenters do not receive honorariums and are responsible for their own travel/hotel arrangements.
  • Presenters agree to submit all program materials, including handouts and PowerPoint slides electronically by dates indicated in the referenced link above. Presenters will receive instructions on submitting materials.
  • All presenters must provide their own laptop loaded with their presentation at the time of the session.
  • The main session presenter (speaker 1) per session receives a complimentary full conference registration. Additional presenters within a session are responsible for the costs of registration which are discounted at a rate.

Terms and Conditions 

Acceptance to the following terms and conditions must be granted in order for your proposal to be considered. The onsite presentation will correspond with this original proposal/description The presentation contains factual, educational content Products and services are not mentioned, commercial messages are prohibited The presentation contacts well-rounded perspectives This proposal will be submitted for peer review, acceptance is not guaranteed If selected, the language submitted in this proposal will be used for marketing purposes If selected, I will adhere to all deadlines, including those for submitting my presentation and any handouts. 

Compensation and Travel Expense
As compensation, one speaker in each session receives a complimentary registration. Additional presenters/panelists will be responsible for the costs of conference registration. All presenters are responsible for their own travel/hotel expenses. 

Speaker Agreement 
All selected presenters are required to sign a Speaker's Agreement which includes granting the Construction SuperConference a nonexclusive license to the copyright of written materials (presentations) and may include permission to record (audio/video) the session I have full power to make this Agreement and have informed any co-presenter(s) of the terms of this Agreement and I am consenting on his/her/their behalf as agent, and am authorized to do so.
