Enabling and Managing the Quality and Use of Data
Optimizing information management, which we define as the acquisition, organization, control, dissemination and use of information, has for decades been a key component of improving organizational performance. Today’s information architectures have grown significantly to accommodate an unprecedented deluge of data spread across cloud computing instances and the enterprise. To compete effectively, organizations must rise to the challenge of deploying and maintaining applications as well as data and analytics across a myriad of business processes involving customers, products, sales and finance. We are undertaking this benchmark research to learn how organizations are making information more accessible while also retaining appropriate controls over the use of data. We also seek to understand how they are addressing difficulties in establishing data governance policies that align information systems with business priorities and comply with regulations, and how they are executing data governance processes in their management of IT assets, processes and personnel.

Are You Qualified? The survey for this research study is designed for all those involved in information management, which we define as the acquisition, organization, control, dissemination and use of information. We encourage IT and line of business personnel across all industries to participate. Solution providers, software vendors, consultants, media and systems integrators may participate in the survey, but they are not eligible for incentives and their input will be used only if they meet the qualifications. Incentives are provided to qualified participants in the research and also are conditional on provision of accurate contact information including company name and company email address that can be used for fulfillment of incentives.

What’s In It For You? All survey participants will receive immediate access to related research to support their organization’s efforts. In addition, all qualified participants will receive a $50 gift card. Thank you for your participation!
