Please join us for our Historic Bicentenary from Wednesday, October 11 to Saturday, October 14. We will mark this time with worship, programs, and activities that help express our history, identity, and vision.
Overview: On Wednesday, we celebrate the African American Episcopal Historical Collection. Thursday has an Alumni focus, Friday features art at VTS as well as family-friendly activities, and on Saturday at 9:00 am, we conclude with a Festive Eucharist with The Most Reverend Dr. Hosam E. Naoum, Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, Primate and President Bishop, The Province of Jerusalem & the Middle East as presider and The Very Reverend Ian S. Markham, Ph.D. Dean and President of Virginia Theological Seminary and President of The General Theological Seminary as preacher.
Please note that Presiding Bishop, The Most Rev. Michael Bruce Curry, is no longer able to join us for the Bicentenary and we ask for prayers as he recovers from his surgery.
